For companies in the retail sector with the obligation to keep bibliographic books, for which data are available on a monthly basis, turnover in January 2022 amounted to 2.32 billion euros, an increase of 5.1% compared to January 2021 which was set at 2.21 billion euros and a decrease of 31.6% compared to December 2021 which was set at 3.39 billion euros.

For retail businesses, excluding vehicles, food and fuel, with the obligation to keep bibliographic books, for which data are available on a monthly basis, turnover in January 2022 amounted to 0.597 billion euros, marking an increase 1.0% compared to January 2021 which was set at 0.591 billion euros and a decrease of 43.7% compared to December 2021 which was set at 1.06 billion euros.

• North Aegean Region, increase of 36.6%.
• Region of Thessaly, increase of 14.9%.
