Whether it is small, large, tall, low, pronounced or not the imperative when it comes to the B side is only one: tone.
From Jennifer Lopez to Beyoncé, passing through the Kardashian clan up to our own Elettra Lamborghini… Firm, toned and sculpted buttocks.
But how to get them? We we discovered the secret of one of them… Recently, in fact, Elettra Lamborghini has published a story on Instagram that portrays her while she is carrying out a very particular treatment: theEMS-TONE in preparation – as she herself writes – for the new video coming out of the summer hit Caramel.
To understand what it is, how it works and how much it costs, we asked the creator of this protocol, the Dr. Alice Savarin, Surgeon specializing in Aesthetic, Regenerative and Antiaging Medicine.
Doctor, what is EMS Tone?
«First of all I would like to explain that EMS-Tone is not the name of a single machine, but rather of a therapy conceived over several years by me and my staff. It is based on the combination of a machinery with focused electrical impulses at modulable intensity, with an active biomechanical stimulation. This passive / active combo is what makes the difference compared to the vast majority of classic machines in vogue at the moment and it is what triggers a process of improvement and increase in a highly targeted way of strength and tone in the muscle fibers. During the EMS-Tone session, the electrical impulses and induced muscle contractions characterize the activation of the target muscle with a stimulus of high intensity and density. This results in a functional improvement of muscle strength and endurance and from the aesthetic point of view of the shape and its tone ».
Who is it suitable for?
«EMS-Tone is indicated for anyone who wants to shape, tone, strengthen a specific area of their body. Our patients range from the young girl who leads a sedentary life who wants to focus attention on the modeling of a specific muscle district (the most popular are buttocks and abdominals), to the person who trains in the gym but cannot get the results they want on a deficient muscle, to those who, due to an injury or an operation, must rehabilitate a certain body area. These are just a few examples ».
What results to expect and in how long?
“The results are what you can expect from a specific active / passive muscle stimulation program: greater strength, greater tone, greater resistance and better shape. The time with which results are obtained varies widely and is related to age, lifestyle and diet. We always recommend a journey of about three months where sessions are carried out constantly, followed by a maintenance period with much less frequent sessions ».
We have seen in your studio Elettra Lamborghini that she has undergone this treatment, are there other VIPs who do it?
“Yup, we have several famous people performing EMS-Tone, for privacy reasons obviously I can not communicate the names. However, I can advise anyone interested in finding out which VIPs come to my studio to follow the stories on my Instagram profile… ».
To maximize results, how many sessions are recommended and how to behave with your lifestyle (nutrition, sport, etc.)?
«To optimize and maximize results, I generally recommend two sessions a week (no more because the induced muscle stimulus is really high), with a healthy lifestyle e a balanced diet, where carbohydrates, proteins and fats are present in the right quantities and proportions. My staff and I consider nutrition a fundamental element to the point that we present to many patients the complete ‘Body Shape’ programwhich combines EMS-tone with a dietary path and, if necessary, other aesthetic medicine therapies ».
The cost of a three-month protocol with two weekly EMS-Tone sessions for the buttock area is around around 1,400 eurosbut obviously everything is customized according to individual needs and problems.
In addition to this, even some firming cream can help … Like the ones recommended below.
