The notice for the 2024 edition of the National High School Exam (Enem) was published this Monday (13). This year, the tests will be administered on the 3rd and 10th of November – two Sundays.
The registration period for Enem 2024 runs from May 27th to June 7th. The fee is R$85 and can be paid, until June 12th, by bank slip (generated at the Participant Page), Pix, credit card, debit from a current or savings account (depending on the bank).
Also this Monday, the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) is expected to release the results of requests for exemption from the registration fee. The institute warns that candidates whose request was approved are not automatically enrolled. In other words, they must register normally to be able to take the test.
Anyone whose request was rejected must submit an appeal between today and next Friday (17). The results of the appeals are scheduled to be announced on May 24th.
Inep says that it will not be necessary to send, at the time of registration, supporting documents relating to the candidate's social name. According to the institute, “transvestites, transsexuals or transgender people will receive this treatment automatically, according to the data registered with the Federal Revenue Service”. In other words, the participant must check the information contained in the Revenue and, if necessary, update it.
The Enem reapplication for participants who meet the defined criteria will be on December 10th and 11th. This alternative, says Inep, “is made available, in specific cases, to people who were absent due to logistical problems or infectious diseases, as provided for in the notice”.
