Enem will be applied this Sunday (13) in 1,747 Brazilian municipalities

About 3.4 million students will take the National High School Exam (Enem) this Sunday (13) across Brazil, in print and digital formats. The test will be applied in 11,275 locations spread across 1,747 Brazilian municipalities, according to the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep).

Most of those enrolled (3,331,566) will take the printed Enem, while 65,066 opted for the digital version. Most candidates are in the states of São Paulo (527,097), Minas Gerais (301,350) and Bahia (260,331). Women represent 61% of the participants and black people (sum of pretos and pardos), 54.8%.

Altogether, approximately 320,500 people are involved in the application of the exam, including state and municipal coordinators, applicators and supervisors. Click here to know more details about Enem 2022.

Upon arriving at the test site, participants must present original identification document, with photo. Among the accepted identifications are identity and driver’s licenses (CNH), passport and work card issued after January 27, 1997.

The novelty of this edition is that digital documents with a photo of the e-Título, digital CNH and digital ID will be accepted, which must be presented in the respective official applications. Cell phone screen shots will not be accepted.

Another must-have item is the black ink ballpoint pen made of transparent material. It is necessary to fill out the answer card in the printed Enem and to write the essay in both the printed and digital Enem. The protective mask is mandatory, except in states or municipalities where the use of the item indoors is allowed by decree or administrative act of equal regulatory power.

Protective measures against Covid-19

Faced with the increase in cases of Covid-19 in the country in recent weeks, Inep announced that it will maintain, as in the last two editions, protective measures against the disease.

According to the institute, candidates who have Covid-19 or another infectious disease should not attend the test site. These people will be entitled to request a reapplication of the exam, which will take place on a new date.

The reapplication of the Enem will be on January 10th and 11th, 2023. The reapplication request must be made on the Participant’s Page within five working days after the last day of application, according to the exam notice. Each order will be analyzed individually.

The applicant must present a legible document proving the disease. The documentation must include the full name of the participant, the diagnosis with the description of the condition, the code corresponding to the International Classification of Disease (ICD 10), in addition to the signature and identification of the competent professional, with the respective registration in the Regional Council of Medicine (CRM), the Ministry of Health or a competent body, as well as the date of care.

In addition to Covid, justifications will be accepted from candidates with tuberculosis, whooping cough, diphtheria, invasive disease by Haemophilus influenzae, meningococcal disease and other meningitis, smallpox, human influenza A and B, wild poliovirus poliomyelitis, measles, rubella, chickenpox.
