Erdogan: Kyiv and Moscow to keep their commitments

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that Turkey expects Kyiv and Moscow to live up to their responsibilities under the agreement they signed on the export of Ukrainian grain, Reuters reports.

On Friday, Russia, Ukraine, the United Nations and Turkey signed an agreement aimed at allowing the safe passage of ships entering and leaving three Ukrainian Black Sea ports that have been blockaded by Russia since the February 24 invasion. .

“We expect them to live up to the agreements they signed and act according to the responsibilities they assumed,” Erdogan told state broadcaster TRT Haber, adding that the “operational aspect” of the mechanism would be coordinated from a center in Istanbul, with representatives of all sides.
