Marvel Studios just gave their fans the best start to the week with the premiere of the first official trailer of Eternals, a film that will show us a new group of superheroes, between the cosmic and the mythological.
The exciting thing about this release is that it comes after the film has had several delays due to the covid-19 pandemic. In addition, it is directed by Oscar winner Chloé Zhao, and its cast is a talent bomb, consisting of Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Dong-seok Ma, Lia Mchugh, Gemma Chan, Barry Keoghan, and Kit Harington.
Who are these new superheroes?
Marvel Studios’ 26th film tells the story of an immortal alien race, called the Eternals, that has lived on planet Earth for more than seven thousand years. This group of aliens was created by the Celestials, God-like creatures who also introduced an evil counterpart to the Eternals: The Deviants.
All Eternals are telepaths, super strong, and near-immortal. In addition, they can fly, transmute organic and inorganic matter, create illusions, teleport and generate various sources of energy in their body (heat, light, electromagnetic radiation).
However, they cannot leave the Milky Way or harm the Celestials. Furthermore, they are programmed to defend their creators from all danger and / or enemy.

After several setbacks, the film opens in theaters on November 5 and it is expected that this group of heroes will be as well received as their predecessors: The Avengers.
