The ETH Kipu Foundation and the Ministry of Education of Buenos Aires have developed educational modules for studying blockchain technology and the Ethereum network. They will be implemented in high school programs from August 27.

According to the press release, high school students will be able to gain theoretical knowledge and then apply it in practice. Thirty teachers will be trained to implement and continue the educational initiative, who will take an in-depth course on blockchain.

In addition, the Ministry of Education of Buenos Aires, together with ETH Kipu, is working on a new course on the Solidity programming language for creating decentralized applications based on Ethereum. The online course is designed for five hundred students.

According to the foundation’s co-founder Romina Sejas, the educational project has been in development for several months. She emphasized that the Argentine government has become more loyal to cryptocurrencies and blockchain, and local authorities have received the right to issue their own digital assets after approval from the regulator.

Earlier, the Argentine Ministry of Justice officially registered the first company in the country to include crypto assets in its authorized capital, namely Bitcoin and USDC stablecoins.
