Euphoria’s Angus Cloud dies from an “accidental overdose”

Almost two months after the death of Angus Cloud – which occurred on July 31st – the reason for his death has been revealed. The autopsy conducted by the medical examiner of Almeda County in California, revealed that the cause is attributable to an accidental overdose resulting from a mix of drugs such as fentanyl, methamphetamines, benzodiazepines and cocaine. The rumors, which circulated in the immediately following days, that the actor had consciously tried to commit suicide were therefore put to rest.

What happened, in fact, was connected to the death, just a week earlier, of the father to whom the protagonist Euphoria he was very close. Having buried such an important figure after a long illness had profoundly shaken the actor who had been struggling with depression and addictions for years. His mother, however, was quick to point out on social media that the death was certainly accidental because the son, although very affected by the affair, in the last hours of his life, had shown himself to be very focused on the future and willing to spend as much time as possible with his family.

The actor’s death left a deep void not only among his fans, but also among his colleagues who always underlined his talent and great acting skills. There were many messages from his set mates: from Zendaya to Sydney Sweeney, everyone on Instagram expressed their pain over this loss and the deep sadness in no longer being able to have the opportunity to spend time with such a unique and special person.
