European ministers call for “free and fair” elections in Georgia

The European affairs ministers of Germany, France and Poland have urged, in an open letter, the Georgian authorities to guarantee that the elections will be “free and fair” and respect the European aspirations of the population of this small Caucasus country. In their letter, entitled “Georgia’s European future is in your hands”, Anna Luhrmann, Benjamin Andad and Adab Slapka say they are worried about the future of this country, whose residents are called to the polls on October 26 for the parliamentary elections.
