The Government and the Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with the Ministry of Development and Investments, and with the assistance of the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE), responding to the needs of businesses that have been negatively affected by the crisis of the coronavirus pandemic, are proceeding to facilitate those businesses that have not submitted supporting documents for the refundable advance, as well as those businesses whose debts are confirmed after the first fortnight of the month.
In particular, with the issuance of a relevant decision, it is provided that beneficiaries who have not submitted the required supporting documents can submit them no later than September 23, 2022, in order for the possibility of non-return of part of the aid received to apply, as well as the foreseen discount on of the refundable amount in case of lump sum payment.
In addition, for beneficiaries for whom the refundable amount certification is completed after July 15, 2022 and
a) if the certification is completed after the first fortnight of the month, any monthly installments that precede the certification, become payable on the last working day of the following month from the month in which the certification is carried out, together with the current installment thereof, while
b) if the certification is completed during the first fortnight of the month, any monthly installments that precede the certification become payable on the last working day of the month in which the certification takes place.
At the same time, the above-mentioned beneficiaries are provided with the possibility of a one-off payment of the refundable amount of the aid received, with a discount of 15% on the refundable amount of the aid received, provided that the one-off payment is made by the corresponding payment dates and provided that the required supporting documents have been submitted on no later than September 23, 2022, provided that the conditions of the decisions are met.
It is recalled that for beneficiaries for whom certification of the refundable amount was completed by July 15, 2022, the first installment was payable by July 29, 2022, a date until which the possibility of a one-time payment with a 15% discount was valid. Accordingly, for beneficiaries for whom certification of the refundable amount was completed after July 15, 2022 and within the month of July, the first installment becomes payable today, August 31, 2022, together with the second installment, until which date the one-off option is also valid payment with a 15% discount.
The notices for the payment of the refundable amount are posted on the information system, while a relevant e-mail message is also sent to the e-mail address declared by the debtor. Businesses can see their debts from the refundable part of the aid in the AADE information system (“myAADE”) in the Debts, Payments & Refunds option, as well as a detailed recording, in a digital file, of the aid cycles for which a certificate has been made , from the myBusinessSupport platform.
The payment of the debts is also possible through the IRIS Online Payments system, at myAADE (myaade.gov.gr), with direct crediting of the debts.
