In the new reality that the Taliban brought to Afghanistan Facebook is being adapted as there are reports of raids on the homes of journalists, members of the LGBTQI community, women in public activity and other individuals.
First of all, Enables one-click timeline privacy settings, barring non-user friends from viewing, downloading or sharing photos of their timeline, encouraging users to “restrict what strangers see for you”.
The tool will not be available on Instagram, but in this application users will receive “pop-up alerts” that will give them instructions to lock their accounts if needed.

The Facebook It also temporarily hides its users’ friends lists in the country so that the Taliban can not easily locate someone’s contacts.
It even urges users around the world who have Facebook friends from Afghanistan to change the privacy settings for their friends list..
