Fans fight in line to buy tickets for the RBD show; watch video

This Friday (27th) was not an easy day for Brazilian fans of the Mexican group RBD.

For those who opted to buy tickets for the presentations that the group will make online in November of this year, the frustration came after the message “sold out at the moment” appeared for all sectors on the ticket sales website in about one hour.

As for fans who camped and faced long queues at the physical point of sale, the purchase was even more troubled. In Rio de Janeiro, fans of the group discussed and exchanged slaps in front of the Jeunesse Arena ticket office, in Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio.

In the images, the confusion starts with a fight for a place in line. Soon, an exchange of slaps began. See the images that went viral:

RBD IN BRAZIL

Popular Mexican group RBD will reunite for the first time in 15 years.

The Brazilian ticket includes shows in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with tickets ranging from R$210 to R$850.

The pop music phenomenon group, formed on account of the Mexican soap opera that aired between 2004 and 2006, has not performed since December 2008, when it played its last show in Madrid, Spain.

This time, the group will reunite without one of the original members, singer Alfonso Herrera, “Poncho”, who is also known for his role in the Netflix series Sense8.

Even without Poncho, Dulce María, Anahí, Maitê Perroni, Christian Chávez and Christopher Uckermann will visit 26 cities, in 10 stadiums and 18 arenas.
