Dorival Júnior is the new coach of Flamengo, as announced by the club this Friday (10).
The announcement came after the resignation of Portuguese Paulo Sousa, announced on Thursday. The coach led the team to 19 wins, 7 draws and 6 losses — without titles and with two runners-up.

This will be Júnior’s third spell at Flamengo, with a contract that lasts until December. The coach’s first season at the head of the team was in 2012, and lasted until March 2013. After five years, he returned to the club in September 2018, winning a national runner-up.
Dorival Júnior, 60, was ahead of Ceará.
The club’s next match takes place this Saturday (11), against Internacional. The players head to Porto Alegre, where they will meet the new coach.
