Oppo is set to release its first smartphone equipped with a foldable display, according to information released by verified Chinese insider Digital Chat Station.
The whistleblower said the Chinese tech giant’s foldable smartphone will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery. In addition, this battery also supports 65W fast charging.
Back in August, Digital Chat Station announced that Oppo’s foldable phone would be equipped with a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) display. This smartphone should be running ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box.
It’s worth noting that the foldable smartphone market has grown noticeably over the past couple of years, however, stores are mostly stocked with foldable Samsung phones. Xiaomi’s first foldable phone is only available in China, and many manufacturers still haven’t released such phones.
Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of the Redmi K30, K40, Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 11.
