THE The heat wave continues to gain strength in Brazil and increases temperatures in several regions of the country, according to Climatempo’s forecast . The weather remains stable and the air is extremely dry from the interior of São Paulo to the state of Tocantins this Tuesday (3).
One fog predominates in the early morning in the South and Southeast of Brazil and no rain is expected during the day in these regions.
In the North of the country, the combination of heat and humidity encourages heavy rain.

Southern Region
The day dawns with fog in Porto Alegre and areas of western Rio Grande do Sul, central Santa Catarina and eastern Paraná, including the metropolitan region of Curitiba. Throughout the day, the weather will remain with low humidity and no forecast of rain in the region.
Southeast Region
In Greater São Paulo, in the Paraíba Valley and between Minas Gerais and part of Rio de Janeiro there is a chance of fog. The capital of Rio de Janeiro will wake up with some clouds, but it will get warmer in the afternoon. The heat and dry air are expected, with no rain forecast for the entire region.
Central-West Region
The sun is shining almost without clouds and temperatures remain high, with no rain forecast and low humidity. Be aware of the high risk of forest fires.
Northeast Region
Sea winds continue to form rain clouds over the region. Salvador and Recife are expected to experience more isolated rain, while João Pessoa and Natal may experience moderate rain, but the sun will be out most of the day. Ceará, Piauí and Maranhão will have stable weather and low humidity.
Northern Region
The south of the region continues without rain and with lots of sun, heat and low humidity. The highlights are the states of Amazonas, Roraima and Amapá, with heavy rain showers and a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
