Yandex has added a new clause to the user agreement for the Yandex.Food service, which protects couriers from incorrect handling.
Now users of Yandex.Food and Yandex.Lavka can be blocked or deprived of some functionality in case of “rude, impolite, incorrect, endangering life, health or property and / or capable of causing moral harm” in relation to employees, delivery representatives, restaurants, shops.
Yandex explained: “A rude, handwritten disrespectful attitude towards couriers is absolutely unacceptable, in such situations we are on their side.”
