The Russian government has determined a list of goods prohibited for export from the country until December 31, 2022. According to Autonews.ru, the list includes cars previously imported from abroad.
The ban applies to cars and other motor vehicles imported from abroad, including vans and racing cars. At the same time, the innovation does not apply to vehicles designed to carry 10 or more passengers. Also, the ban does not apply to deliveries to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Last year, imports of passenger cars to Russia grew by 39.4% to 338.9 thousand cars. 33.8 thousand trucks were imported into our country, which is 40.1% more than in 2020.
Experts believe that sanctions and the withdrawal of many automakers from our market could reduce sales of new cars by 25% by the end of the year if Chinese and Korean manufacturers do not take the share of European, American and Japanese brands.
As we already reported, monitors, projectors, turbines, and medical equipment were also banned from Russia.
