The actor died John Stahl, who had embodied the character Richard Karstark in his early seasons Game of Thrones.
In particular, the actress’s agent, Amanda Fitzalan Howard. confirmed that the actor passed away on March 2 at the age of 68 years. The cause of death is not yet known.
In the second and third seasons of the successful series, the actor had played Carstark and appeared in many scenes with Richard Madden, as the Stark and Carstark houses were turned into allies, sworn enemies.
Game of Thrones was preceded by a starring role in the Scottish series “Take the High Road” in which he played from 1982 until the finale in 2003.
John Stahl also worked for the Royal Academy of Music and Drama in Scotland, the National Theater in London and the Royal Shakespeare Company. He was married to Jane Patton.
