Gazprom plans to cut 40% of its workforce

The giant Russian oil company Gazprom is facing financial difficulties as a result of Moscow’s attack on Ukraine, which is forcing it to cut 40% of its staff at its offices in Saint Petersburg, a spokesman for the group told AFP today.
