Germany: National blockade as of November 2

According to the German newspaper image, a national shutdown in the country could begin next Monday, November 2, if Chancellor Angela Merkel reaches an agreement with the prime ministers of the German states, according to Reuters.

Earlier in the day, Reuters noted that a draft resolution suggested the lockdown would begin on November 4.

Market reaction
