Man armed with a knife injured two people yesterday Thursday (8/9) night in a city in the south Germany before being dropped dead by a bullet from her member policewhich announced it was investigating a crime with “Islamist” or “terrorist” motivations.
The man, in his 30s, attacked passers-by with “at least one knife” near the bus station in Ansbach, a Bavarian community not far from Nuremberg, local police said in a statement.
Two people were injured but their lives are not in danger, according to the same img.
When law enforcement intervened the man “attacked officers” who opened fire and fatally wounded him, according to the statement.
According to eyewitnesses, “the man shouted “Allahu Akbar” repeatedly while committing his acts,” the police clarified, adding that they are conducting an investigation to find out whether “the crimes had an Islamic or terrorist background.”
