Germany: Two out of three voters “see” victory of the SPD and Soltz

Two-thirds of Germans believe the Social Democratic Party (SPD) will win the elections on Sunday and that his candidate, Olaf Solts, will be the next Chancellor. On the contrary, the percentage of those who believe that the Christian Union (CDU / CSU) may be the first party or Armin Lasset to become Chancellor is now very limited.

According to a poll by the Forsa Institute on behalf of the RTL / ntv television networks, as broadcast by APE-MPE, 66% of respondents believe that the SPD will emerge victorious from Sunday’s polls, while 67% estimate that the next Chancellor will be Olaf Solz. On the other hand, only 18% of voters believe that the CDU / CSU will win the election and even fewer, 16%, that Armin Lasset can lead a future coalition government.

In the victory of the Greens he estimates only 4%, while only 14% believe that Analena Berbok has a chance to become Chancellor in Germany.

In terms of voting intention, the SPD remains at 25%, while the CDU / CSU gain one point and reach 22%. The Greens follow with 17%, the Liberals (FDP) and the Alternative for Germany (AfD) remain at 11%, while the Left at 6%.

Answering a question about whether the party or its leading candidate is the strongest criterion for choosing a vote, 55% say they consider the party more important, 5% the candidate’s person and 35% both.
