Glenn Close is looking forward to watching the series inspired by “Fatal Attraction”

It has been 35 years since “Fatal Attraction” hit theaters and the pop culture zeitgeist. Now, one of its stars has some ideas for the movie adaptation being produced by the streaming platform Paramount+.

Glenn Close spoke with “Entertainment Tonight” recently at the New York premiere of their Apple TV+ series, “Tehran.”

In “Fatal Attraction,” she played Alex Forrest and said she will always love the character in part because “it was a very important step” in her career.

Close revealed that he would like to see Alex get more prominence in the miniseries inspired by this movie classic.

“I hope they tell their side of the story,” she said. “I’d be flattered if that’s what we created (originally), but obviously I’m already excited and very curious to see what it will look like.”

According to her, her character “is a human being who needs a lot of help. She is a fragile person.”

Joshua Jackson and Lizzy Caplan are expected to star in the reboot, whose premiere date has yet to be announced.
