The original GMC Sierra 1500 pickup was introduced to the world in 2019, but then fans of this car criticized the manufacturer for a rather boring interior. Two years later, representatives of the brand decided to listen to the fans, releasing an updated version of the popular pickup, but in addition to the expected interior, the car received a very noticeable bonus in the form of the SuperCruise semi-automatic driving system. This technology allows you to use the autopilot on highways (unfortunately, only on special highways, the markings of which are included in the database), rebuild between lanes and even tow a trailer.
It should be noted that the ability to tow any cargo in almost no autopilot is currently not implemented. The car also received new, more durable shock absorbers, a suspension travel of 50 millimeters, and still quite powerful engines – the AT4X and Denali Ultimate versions are supplied on a V8 with a volume of 6.2 liters with 426 horsepower in combination with a 10-speed automatic transmission, which should be enough for a pickup truck that theoretically delivers heavy loads. However, there is a diesel engine for 281 horsepower, a turbocharged “four” for 314 horses and a simpler V8 with a volume of 5.3 liters.
Very impressive changes are noticeable in the car’s interior – the manufacturer used impressive touch screens (12.3-inch dashboard and 13.4-inch multimedia system screen), plus the interior itself is made of genuine leather with wooden inserts. The seats have a massage function, a high-end Bose speaker system and a 15-inch head-up display. In addition, changes are noticeable in the appearance of the popular pickup truck – it looked quite impressive and expensive before, but the updated model breaks all attractiveness records.
For example, on the front panel you can see a huge radiator grille, a new bumper with decorative elements has also appeared there, LED fog lights are made in the form of a thin strip, and the running lights have also been slightly updated. And if the AT4X configuration has only 18-inch disks, then the Denali Ultimate boasts a 22-inch version.
