Google has released a 64-bit version of Chrome for Android. Finally!

Until recently, Android users were forced to use the 32-bit version of the Chrome browser. On March 8, Google released a new version of Chrome 89 and the 64-bit version became available to users.

However, not all Android devices will be able to get it. In order to use the 64-bit version of the browser, the smartphone must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • The device must be running Android 10 or newer.
  • The device must have at least 8 gigabytes of RAM.
