RoboSense has announced the launch of China’s first automotive-grade solid-state lidar production line. The line will start serial production and delivery of RS-LiDAR-M1 lidars in the second quarter.

At CES2021 in January of this year, RoboSense officially unveiled the serial version of the RS-LiDAR-M1 automotive lidar, which is distinguished by its thin design, high performance and reliability. Since last July, when it began taking orders, RoboSense has attracted a number of customers, the first of which was an unnamed North American OEM. In December last year, he received samples of RS-LiDAR-M1 – the world’s first automotive-grade solid-state lidar based on MEMS technology, ready for mass production.
Two days ago, Inceptio introduced the Xuanyuan self-driving system equipped with RoboSense solid-state lidar, and the parties announced a partnership. The first fruit of this collaboration will be the production L3 heavy-duty vehicle equipped with the Xuanyuan system, which will be on the market by the end of 2021.
