it can still rain
Assis Diniz, head of weather forecasting at Inmet (National Institute of Meteorology), in an interview with CNN, said that the southeast region – mainly São Paulo and Minas Gerais – may have heavy rains next week.
“The zone is undergoing a convergence, causing significant rains until next Wednesday (2)”, said the expert.
The head of Inmet also warns that rainfall can reach 100 mm per day, which can leave the soil soggy in some regions, with chances of collapse.
