The federal government is going to send, this Wednesday (15), another 90 security agents from the National Force to Rio Grande do Norte.
The reinforcement should also have 30 vehicles that should help in the fight against criminal attacks registered in the state.
The military will leave Brasília Air Base in a Brazilian Air Force (FAB) plane.
The group will join the other 100 agents who were sent last Tuesday (14), in two aircraft. One of the areas of support is the service at the Federal Penitentiary in Mossoró.
The executive secretary of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, Ricardo Cappelli, minister Flávio Dino’s right arm, advanced the measure.
“The Ministry of Justice is going to send another 90 security agents and 30 vehicles to Rio Grande do Norte. Two FAB planes with 100 men have already embarked. One that left at 8:00 pm and another that will leave at 10:00 pm”, detailed Cappelli last night, during an event organized by the National Association of Judicial Police Delegates (ADPJ).
Cappelli’s speech follows the lines of the National Secretary of Public Security, Tadeu Alencar, who stated that the federal government is constantly supporting the state with the federal apparatus.
The first agents of the National Force arrived in Rio Grande do Norte in the early hours of this Wednesday.
Governor Fátima Bezerra (PT), who was on the agenda in Brasília, disembarked with the troops on the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) plane.

Federal criminal police carried out, still on the night of this Tuesday (14), the transfer of a prisoner from the penitentiary of Alcaçuz, in Rio Grande do Norte, to a federal prison. The penitentiary, however, was not revealed.
According to the National Secretariat for Penal Policies, the transferred prisoner is accused of involvement in a criminal group suspected of leading crimes of homicide, drug trafficking and attacks on public and private property.
The Minister of Justice, Flávio Dino, told CNN Brasil that new transfers could be carried out today and that he does not exclude the possibility of himself traveling this Wednesday (15) to Natal to accompany the work of the National Force.
