The graphic artist Elifas Andreato died in São Paulo, on the night of this Monday (28), after a complication resulting from a heart attack, as confirmed by his daughter, Laura Andreato.
“We are immensely grateful for all the love, support and positive currents you have emanated. It certainly made him feel very loved and welcomed and so do we now,” Laura said.
Known mainly for his creations for album covers, Andreato signs works by important names in Brazilian music, such as Chico Buarque, Paulinho da Viola and Beth Carvalho.
According to information from the family, the body will be cremated this Tuesday, without a wake, at the Vila Alpina crematorium at 4 pm. A ceremony honoring the artist has yet to be scheduled.
With a publication on Instagram, Andreato’s brother, Elias Vicente, said goodbye to the artist. “My beloved brother. Thank you for your art.”
On Twitter, cartoonist Laerte also regretted the departure. “Ah, greater sadness!” she said she.
