Grupo Halcon, one of the leading companies in the production of ceramic tiles based in Spain, announces additional investments within the Group’s growth plan in 2021. Specifically, the company is committed to launching a new last generation production line, which will be located at the Group’s facilities in l’Alcora, for the production of large-format pieces and polished finishes. This will be the second new production line that Grupo Halcón will launch in 2021, which together will provide an additional capacity of 8 million square meters, and will increase the Group’s operating capacity to 16 lines in 2021.
This new investment will complement the different projects that Grupo Halcón launched during 2020 with the aim of strengthening the Group’s value proposition in the market. In this sense, it should be remembered that a new 160,000 m2 logistics center in Onda, which will include a part of the roofed surface and an area for the preparation of loads, both in large and in small quantities (picking). This will allow Grupo Halcon to consolidate and optimize its warehousing and distribution activity.
Also, they are building two new showrooms, differentiated for brands Halcón and Emotion, located at the Group’s facilities in l’Alcora, which have a total area of 1,400 m2, and where the most avant-garde and novel designs will be exhibiteds of the Group. And finally, the Group’s current production lines are being renewed, to equip them with the latest technology and processes. These projects entail in total a investment of 45 million euros during the 2020-2021 period.
Halcon Group employs more than 600 people in four factories and invoices close to 150 million euros. Most of the sales come from exports to more than 100 countries, Spain being the reference market. The group’s majority shareholder since 2018 is Falcon Private Holdings, the private investment fund of Jamshid Keynejad and Barry Siadat, whose headquarters are in the US.
