Economy Minister Paulo Guedes defined this weekend the replacements of special secretaries who will leave the portfolio by the end of this year to take up functions abroad.
For the command of the Special Secretariat for Productivity and Competitiveness, currently occupied by Carlos da Costa, the minister must appoint the special advisor for strategic matters, Daniella Marques Consentino.
To lead the Special Secretariat of the Federal Revenue, which is currently headed by José Tostes Neto, the minister must appoint the fiscal auditor Júlio César Vieira.
Costa will be appointed economic affairs attaché in Washington, at the Brazilian Embassy in the US. Tostes will also be appointed attaché, but in Brazil’s post at the OECD, in Paris.
Guedes intends to take advantage of chair dancing to make another change. He intends to nominate former federal deputy Alexandre Baldy, from PP, to the Institutional Relations Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy.
