THE Hamas released, early this Sunday morning (19), the list with the names of the three Israeli hostages who will be released. The delay in sending the list delayed the start of the ceasefire in Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Hamas justified the delay in releasing the names of hostages to be released in the first phase of the ceasefire as “technical field reasons”.
Earlier, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had warned that Israel would not continue with the ceasefire and hostage release agreement until it received the list of names. Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip continued into the early hours of Sunday (19), leaving eight people dead and 25 injured.
