A small baby boy he can no longer smile, as his dog destroyed his cheek while watching children in bed. 5-year-old Brantley Manion was attacked by Marley dog on January 8.
The mother of the child, Amanda Dally, from Missouri USA she said she and her 34-year-old husband heard the child screaming in his room. “We ran and we had to get the dog off him. It did not stop.
“He was on Brantley and we could not see him. Christopher pulled the dog and Brantley was holding his face. “He had cut his face, it was a crazy night.”
The 35-year-old mother said that the right side of the child’s face had hung after the savage attack of the three-year-old dog. His mouth was paralyzed on one side due to a ruptured ligament.
“It was completely torn so you could see his teeth through his cheek. “There was blood everywhere, all over Marley and in bed.”
The mother says she does not know how the attack took place, describing the dog as “sweet” and “protective”.
Little Brantley had to go to the operating room for three hours, while his mother states that her son will need other surgeries in the future.
“He needs other surgeries because he can not smile, it is as if one side of the face is paralyzed”says.
The family had taken the dog home when Brantley was two years old. After the attack, he decided to euthanize the dog.
The child spent a week in the hospital and the family had to pay $ 16,000. The family has created a page on GoFundMeasking for help to cover the costs.
