Less than two months after its debut in Brazilian cinemas, “Don’t Worry, Honey” arrives on HBO Max this Monday (7). The film stars Florence Pugh (“Little Women” and “Midsommar”) and Harry Styles (“Dunkirk” and “My Policeman”).
The plot follows Alice and Jack, a couple, in the 1950s, who live in a closed community in California known as Project Victory, where everything is exaggeratedly perfect. The feature is directed by Olivia Wilde (“Outstanding”), who is also in the plot and lives the housewife Bunny. Other stars in the cast include: Chris Pine (“Star Trek” and “Wonder Woman”), Gemma Chan (“Crazy Rich Asians” and “Eternals”) and KiKi Layne (“The Old Guard” and “If Beale Street Could Talk”).
On Rotten Tomatoes, the main aggregator of film and television reviews, the film has 38% acceptance from critics and 71% from the public.
