The Chinese automaker HAVAL, popular on the Russian market, has announced its new SUV called the X Dog. Outwardly, it is similar to the previously presented HAVAL Big Dog SUV, which is about to appear in Russia as the HAVAL Dargo.
The new HAVAL X Dog attracts attention with its aggressive appearance with a massive radiator grille, embossed bonnet, round headlights and special protective covers in matt black. A glance into the interior reveals seven screens, including a digital instrument cluster and a large display for operating the infotainment system. The manufacturer has managed to install a touchscreen display even on the steering wheel.
As for the technical characteristics of the new HAVAL SUV, the manufacturer left this information behind the scenes. But, according to rumors, the HAVAL X Dog will be offered in configurations with 1.5- and 2-liter engines in combination with a seven-speed robotic gearbox. A hybrid version of an SUV with a 1.5-liter engine may also go on sale.
In China, the HAVAL X Dog will go on sale in the first half of 2022. The cost of the SUV is still a secret. When it will appear in other markets and whether it will appear at all, the manufacturer did not specify either. It is possible that HAVAL will bring X Dog to Russia a little later, but under a different name.
