The actress Heather Morris Brittany from the series “Glee”, honored Naya Rivera (1987-2020) this Monday (8), the date that marks four years since the death of the interpreter of Santana.
“I can’t believe it’s been four years. Man, how time flies,” she wrote. “Every year I’m surprised at how much it still hurts. We grew up together, grew apart, and found each other again in such a beautiful way. God, I miss you so much.”
In the black and white footage, Heather Morris and Naya Rivera appear lying down and hugging. In the series “Glee”, the two characters played a romantic couple.
“Except I can’t shake the feeling that you never left. You’re still here with us, guiding us to our fullest potential. I miss you, Nay Nay,” Morris added.
Death of Naya Rivera
Naya Rivera, 33, was found in a lake five days after she disappeared while boating with her son Josey, who was four at the time of the accident. The boy was found alone and sleeping in the boat.
The “Glee” cast has since paid tribute to her with a new song. “Prayer for the Broken,” first recorded by Rivera in 2012, featured background vocals from her Glee co-stars.
