Heating allowance: Last chance for receipts until December 10

The Independent Public Revenue Authority provides instructions to all beneficiaries in the form of questions and answers. Particularly:

– With which codes do we enter the APPLICATION application for the heating allowance?

a. Certified users of the online services log in using TAXISnet personal codes.
b. Users who do not have TAXISnet passwords, will be identified alternatively by giving a TIN. and a notification number of one of the Personal Income Tax Return Tax Determination Acts of the last five years. If you do not remember the passwords and the username happens to be identical with the TIN. then you can not use the alternative connection method. That’s why you need to recover your password through the relevant procedures.

Exclusively using your personal TAXISnet codes.

How long do I have to apply for the heating allowance?

Until December 15, 2021. In case the application is submitted until November 30, 2021 by an applicant who was entitled to the heating allowance and during the winter season 2020/2021, he receives until December 10, 2021 as an advance the amount of allowance he had paid during the winter period 2020 / 2021. The amount of the deposit will be deducted from the immediately following payments of the allowance.

– Which heating fuel markets will participate in the heating allowance for the period 2021 – 2022?

Purchases related to heating oil, natural gas, LPG, firewood, biomass (pellets) and thermal energy through district heating provided that the beneficiary makes purchases of subsidized fuels from October 1, 2022 to March 31 Heating oil purchases made from October 15, 2021, the date from which its sale begins. The overdue registration, after the end of 14 days from the date of purchase, imposes a fine on the member of DI.PE.THE ..

– Until when do I have a deadline for registration of receipts for the purchase of other fuels (except heating oil)?

For purchases from October 1, 2021 until March 31, 2022, the registration deadline is until April 15, 2022 and especially for natural gas, the registration deadline is until May 31, 2022, for documents with a date of issue until May 16, 2022.

– When will the amount of the heating allowance be paid into my bank account?

a. Until December 30, 2021 for all purchases that will be invoiced until November 30, 2021 and subject to the registration of the required data until December 15, 2021.

b. Until the 28th of February 2022 for all the purchases that will be invoiced until the 31st of January 2022 and under the condition of the registration of the required data until the 15th of February 2022.

c. Until the 29th of April 2022 for all the purchases that will be invoiced until the 31st of March 2022 and under the condition of registration of the required data until the 15th of April 2022.

Especially for natural gas will be registered until 31 May 2022 purchase documents of the period 1.10.2021 to 31.03.2022 with the date of issue of the payment document until 16 May 2022 and the corresponding amount of allowance will be paid until 15 June 2022.

– What should I do to cross-check the proof of heating oil purchase?

You will need to provide the heating oil supplier with the correct details, VAT number and POWER NUMBER, in order to issue the purchase document. The correct details are the ones you have applied for or will apply for and are listed on the submission receipt which appears when you click on the blue PDF icon.

The heating oil purchase document must be issued to the applicant’s VAT number, ie the VAT number corresponding to the TAXISnet codes with which the electronic application was submitted or will be submitted.

In the case of an apartment building, the heating oil purchase document must be issued either to the VAT number of the administrator / representative corresponding to the TAXISnet codes with which the profile of the apartment building was created or will be created, or to the VAT number of the apartment building, if issued and issued by / representative of the apartment building in the relevant profile (see relevant question 14). The heating oil purchase document must indicate the correct power supply number of the house and in the case of an apartment building the correct power supply number declared as shared in the profile.

– How many applications can I submit by December 15, 2021 for the heating allowance for the period 2021-2022?

The application does not have a limit on the number of applications you will submit, but only your last application will be valid. Each new application cancels the previous one. Applications should only apply to your main residence.

– During the heating period 2021-2022, I have supplied more than one type of fuel. Can I submit multiple applications, one for each type of fuel?

No. According to the decision, each beneficiary is entitled to a subsidy of only one type of heating fuel and also each new application cancels the previous one.

– As an apartment building manager, am I required to create an apartment building profile when heating in the apartment building is done with one of the other types of fuel, other than heating oil?

In this case, the applications of all beneficiaries are enough to be made as in detached houses. The application does not prevent you from creating an apartment building profile, but it is not required as the heating millimeters are included in the amount corresponding to the beneficiary and will be registered by the beneficiary himself (not by the administrator) through the application MY DOCUMENTS.

– As an apartment building manager with a common burner, what do I need to do in terms of heating millimeters, payment activation and apartment building VAT?

The administrator / representative enters the details of the apartments of the apartment building / oligo house, as well as the millimeters of participation of each of them in the heating expenses (heating millimeters).

Changes to the above information can be made by the administrator only before activating the payment feature.

It is mandatory to declare the millimeters of participation in heating costs for all the apartments of an apartment building in order to create its overall image (open / closed – which belong to natural or legal persons). You will need to agree on a year-round allocation. The total of the millimeters of the apartments must be 1000, so that you can activate the possibility of payment.

You can activate the payment option when even one beneficiary application has been submitted. You can see this from the “There is a request” sign to the right of the apartment details.

– What should be done in case of change of administrator?

A new apartment building profile must be created by the new administrator. The tenants / owners will submit their applications in the new profile created with the TIN of the new administrator. The new administrator should not forget to activate the payment feature as it is a new profile.

CAUTION! If the administrator changes after December 15, 2021, when the application deadline expires, then any purchases of heating oil made by March 31, 2022 must be issued to the VAT number of the previous administrator, otherwise there will be no crossover.

– I am an apartment building manager, how can I change the data that appear in the tenant distribution and specifically the Surname and Tenant name fields?

Items cannot be changed. The names are indicative and do not affect the application. In case the names of previous tenants appear in the profile of the apartment building, then the administrator should inform the new tenant (if he wishes to apply) about the number of the apartment he should choose in the profile of the apartment building (let him indicate the name of the previous tenant).

There is no administrator in the apartment building or there is no shared power supply number (meter) in the apartment building. What must be declared?

In case there is no administrator, it should be agreed with all the tenants / owners who will “take over” the role of administrator in order to create through the myHeating platform, the profile of the apartment building with the apartments, heating millimeters, etc. In case there is no shared power supply, it should be agreed with all tenants / owners, whose power supply number (usually the administrator / representative) will “play” the role of shared power to be declared in the profile of the building.

– In our apartment building, each apartment has its own burner. Do we have to declare it as an apartment building or should every tenant / owner apply as a resident of a detached house?

You will make separate applications each, as residents of a detached house and you will have to procure the type of heating fuel with different purchase documents.

– Do the square meters of my house affect the amount of the allowance?

No.

– Does the gas company need to take any action in order to receive the heating allowance?

No.

– My account is not being credited due to an inactive IBAN declaration. How can I fix it?

The new IBAN account number will be declared through the link https://www.aade.gr/. In myAADE you select “REGISTER & COMMUNICATION” and connect with your personal TAXISnet codes. After logging in, fill in the new account number in the “IBAN Account Statement” field.
