He’s Called ‘Demon Father’ Because Of His Tattoos – At Home He’s Just ‘Daddy’

The others see him as a “demon”, but at home he is just the “Daddy”. 25-year-old tattoo artist Raiden Kraneo Dos Caras was just 12 years old when he got his first tattoo and today his whole body is covered with them.

“People say I’m a demon. But I consider myself human, just like everyone else,” says Caras. The father of one from Colombia loves tattoos since childhood. By the time he was 17, he had tampered with his body, which he calls artistic expression.

That’s when he found his calling, according to what he told the South West News Service. Caras has a three-year-old daughter, Alice, with his wife, 25-year-old Angie Katherine.

He says he often receives messages from people online, who criticize his appearance and “spew venom”. However, no one has yet managed to dare to tell him to his face, as he notes.

“Sometimes people are afraid of me. Some people are curious, but no one has shown me disrespect up close,” he says.

“I feel normal like everyone else despite being reminded that I am different. “Sometimes people who seem normal are the worst creatures there are,” he continues.

Caras wants the world to know that he is more than just a man with tattoos. When he’s not working, with his family, or taking care of his dog, Thanos, he’s doing volunteer work to help others. “I rescue animals whenever I can,” she says.
