Sisters… Soon there will be a full moon again! On Thursday, May 20, 2021, Disney gave us some spectacular news: The sequel to the film Hocus Pocus It could be released through your platform sooner than we think.
Winifred, Sarah and Mary Sanderson will return to do their thing once again during Halloween. Officially, production is scheduled to begin in the fall.
The sisters will arrive with more craziness
The production will begin its recordings in the fall and it is possible that by May 2022 it will already be ready to be transmitted through the Disney + platform, at least that is how the company announced it during a press release.
In Hocus Pocus 2, three young women accidentally bring the Sanderson Sisters to modern-day Salem and will have to figure out how to stop child-starved witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world.

Apparently the sequel will be as darkly comical as the first. Additionally, director Anne Fletcher said she is delighted to bring the iconic witches back to life.
We should laugh every day, and there is so much fun with these three amazing women, playing delightful characters from such a beloved movie. I am grateful to be able to play the role of bringing these witches to life, and being working with my friends at Disney again makes it even more special. This is a movie for everyone from the fans who grew up with the first movie to the next generation of viewers, and I can’t wait to get started!
Best of all, it will feature the original 1993 cast. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy will reprise their roles as the Sanderson sisters. 2022 is here! We need to see Winifred try to use an iPhone to call her book!
