How much does inflation save the program I save

of Eleni Botas

“Covered” against the rise in construction costs is the Savings that concerns the energy upgrade of homes.

According to sources in the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the Economy is not affected by the rise in the price of building materials recorded in recent months due to the skyrocketing energy costs, as eligible costs are covered by the program budget.

In fact, according to Ministry sources in Capital.gr, if the “inflated” pricing that is observed in some cases is avoided, then there is no problem in the execution of budgets of the planned interventions.

Note that the rise in prices for materials has been launched since the fall of 2020 while in recent months due to the war there has been destabilization of raw material prices and large fluctuations in the availability of materials with the result that suppliers can not commit to times and delivery prices of orders received.

Regarding the program of Save, as provided, the percentages of the subsidy are determined on the basis of income and vary according to the use of the house, ie whether it is private housing or rent.

Regarding the interventions that can be subsidized are: replacement of windows, installation / upgrade of thermal insulation, upgrade of heating / cooling system, hot water system using Renewable Energy Sources (RES) as well as other interventions (photovoltaic system, smart home, elevator and elevator. a.)

From Monday, April 4, the digital platform of “Save 2021” reopened and will last until Friday, April 15, only for those citizens who started the process but did not submit a final application for participation in the program.

Pending applications relate to detached houses / individual apartments.

On Monday, April 18, 2022, the submission of applications for the apartment buildings will begin, which will be completed on Monday, May 30, 2022.
