How to see who is looking at your TikTok profile

For some time now TikTok gives the possibility, in the «Inbox» section of the application or through another path, to take a look at the profile view history. In other words, it allows you to see who has visited your profilewhich is impossible on Facebook or Twitter – if not with a few tricks – and instead enabled on other platforms such as LinkedIn.

However, there are some aspects to keep in mind. The first is that only accounts that have this feature enabled and who have viewed their profile in the last 30 days will appear in another user’s profile view history. So if a person visits the profile page of another account that has also activated this setting, their visit will be shown. If one of the two, however, has not enabled this possibility, he will not be listed in that history and, in turn, he will not be able to see who has peeked on his account. As with the blue ticks of Whatsappthe feature works only on a reciprocity.

Profile View History can be turned on or off in Privacy Settings or on the page Profile views. By disabling the profile view history, as mentioned, the user will not be able to see who has viewed their profile and others will not be able to see who has viewed theirs. This is the path to follow in the first case: in the TikTok app you need to touch the section Profile bottom right, then the 3-line menu at the top right to enter your settings, tap Settings and Privacystill select Privacy and choose Profile views. There is a toggle to enable or disable the option which is disabled by default.

The functionality, as mentioned, can also be activated from the Views section of the profile. In the app you have to tap Incoming mailat the bottom, choose the notification which indicates that someone has viewed our profile, listed together with the others (for example those of new followers or likes) and, on the Profile Views page, select the icon Settings at the top right using the switch as above. Remember that to access this feature you need to have at least 16 years old and have less than 5 thousand followers.
