Huawei has confirmed numerous rumors that the next flagship smartphone, called the Huawei Mate X2, will launch this month. The manufacturer has published a poster stating the specific release date of February 22nd.
The predecessors of this smartphone, the Huawei Mate X and Mate Xs, were equipped with foldable screens that folded around the body when folded. Earlier it was reported that the Huawei Mate X2 will have an inward-folding display. The poster confirms this, but sources say that the design of the Mate X2 will be slightly different from the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

According to previous leaks, the Huawei Mate X2 will receive a foldable 8.01-inch screen with a resolution of 2480 x 2220 pixels. The front of the phone will house a 6.45-inch display with a resolution of 2270 x 1160 pixels. The device is likely to be powered by a 5nm Kirin 9000 SoC.
The front camera will be 16-megapixel, while the main camera is expected to use image sensors with a resolution of 50, 16, 12 and 8 megapixels. The camera should support 10x hybrid zoom.
The device will be equipped with a 4400 mAh battery, its dimensions will be 161.8 x 145.8 x 8.2 mm and a weight of 295 g.
