Hundreds of flights have been canceled due to storm Isa hitting Ireland and the Netherlands

Hundreds of flights were cancelled because of her bad weather Aisha who is hurting her Ireland and Netherlandsas the stormy winds are expected to continue on Monday (22.1.2024).

Multiple airlines have canceled a total of 102 flights to and from Dublin Airport in Ireland today as the storm is forecast to continue into Monday.

By 5pm local time, Storm Isa had forced 24 aircraft to abandon their attempt to land at Dublin International Airport. A further 27 flights chose to divert to other airports, according to a statement from Dublin International Airport management on Platform X.

National weather service Met Eireann issued an 'orange' warning early on Sunday morning for most of the country, including Dublin, where strong winds are expected. Some areas, in the west and northwest, have been put on “red” alert.

Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport has canceled 130 flights scheduled for tomorrow as a precaution due to the strong winds accompanying Storm Isa.
