Husband of presidential candidate Simone Tebet tests positive for Covid-19

The husband of Senator Simone Tebet, a pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic by the MDB, tested positive for Covid-19 this Sunday (8). According to the statement released by the advisory, Eduardo Rocha, secretary of government in Mato Grosso do Sul, is doing well.

The released note also informs that, as a precaution and in compliance with the determinations of health protocols and sanitary standards, Tebet must carry out the test for the detection of Covid-19 this Tuesday (10).

“Until the result of the exam, the pre-candidate will stay at her residence, fulfilling her appointment book online”, says the statement.

The senator was made official as the MDB’s pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic for the 2022 elections in December 2021.

In the last Ipespe poll released on Friday (6), Tebet appears with 1% of voting intentions in the race for Palácio do Planalto.
