Walter Erhart begins by saying “I went to the bathroom as usual” and “I was sitting in the basin as usual when I suddenly felt a sting”.
The python escaped from its neighbor’s apartment, where it lived next to another 10 reptiles. The snake came out of his cage and found his way to the sewer.
“Then I saw blood in this area,” the 65-year-old continues, pointing off camera to the point in question, “and only then did I realize that he had bitten me.”
Asked by the journalist if he had seen the snake before the incident, Erhart replied “no, I only understood it when he bit me”…
