Images from the multinational exercise “Poseidon 21” with Greek participation

The Greek drug predator “Europe” took part in the multinational exercise “Poseidon 21”, organized by the Romanian Armed forces in the Black Sea.

THE excercise took place from Saturday 27 February until today, Friday 5 March. It involved units of the Romanian Navy, as well as units of the NATO Standing Mine Countermeasures Maritime Group Two (SNMCMG2).

As part of the exercise, objects with emphasis on anti-mine operations were executed, as well as objects of surface warfare, anti-aircraft warfare and search-and-rescue.

The exercise contributed to the promotion of the level of operational readiness, combat capability, cooperation and interoperability between the participating units in a bilateral and allied context.
