Impressive scenery in Italy: Pink jellyfish “invaded” Trieste

A fascinating spectacle created a flock of pink jellyfish at the pier of Trieste in Italy. Passers-by started taking photos and videos as the water turned pink with the presence of jellyfish.

According to Ruptly, these jellyfish belong to the Rhizostoma Pulmo family and their populations in the Adriatic Sea are growing. Jellyfish may have been carried away by the winds and currents of the sea.
