In addition to modern skyscrapers, Doha, Qatar, pulsates with culture in museums and markets

It is inevitable that the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has directed our attention to the culture, customs and people of this Arab country, especially also to its capital, doha 🇧🇷

Main entrance to the Qatar, the city of more than 2.3 million inhabitants is already fascinating in the first moments, when we leave the Hamad International Airport.

Elected the best in the world in 2021 and 2022 by concentrating luxury, sophistication, high ceilings, more than 30 dining options, and so on, it is a harbinger of what lies ahead.

I was recently on Qatari soil to watch the first match between Brazil and Serbia where masterfully our team thrashed the opponent by two goals to zero.

In the quick passage through the country, in addition to all the party atmosphere created by the thousands of avid fans from the most distant nationalities, I could see that Doha exudes an authentic culture and a lot of art a fact that is enhanced by its large and bold museums.

So, the image of ultra-technological skyscrapers which in fact impress, is just a part that makes up the capital.

A traditional market that pulsates with Qatari culture and original architecture, with a labyrinth of shops selling products from the Middle East, as well as huge art institutions with intense schedules of shows and fixed exhibitions, guaranteeing that Doha look to the future but still honor its traditions.

Therefore, it is certain that this worldwide projection will continue even after the end of the World Cup.
