In concert, Madonna speaks to Brazilians and guarantees coming to the country; watch

To celebrate four decades of a distinguished career, Madonna is traveling on the “Celebration Tour”.

Last Thursday night (16), while performing at the Lanxess Arena, in Cologne, Germany, the singer made a mention of Brazil, driving fans crazy.

“How many Brazilians do we have in the house? Raise your hands and shake!” she asked. Afterwards, she stated that she will come to the country. “I’ll be there eventually, okay?”, she assured, without going into detail about possible dates.

On social media, it didn’t take long for the video to go viral among internet users and fans who made a point of reacting to the announcement.

Madonna’s passages through Brazil

Over the course of her four-decade career, Madonna has been to Brazil three times. In 1993, she brought “The Girlie Show” tour to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In total, there were six days on Brazilian soil — of which the singer spent most of the time at the hotel.

15 years later, in 2008, the North American artist performed at the “Sticky & Sweet” shows, again in both cities, showing all her power and versatility in awe-inspiring shows, complete with pole dancing.

Finally, in December 2012, the singer returned with the “MDNA” tour, adding Porto Alegre to her visit to the country.
