The next round of negotiations between the US and Iran on the Iranian nuclear program will be held in Rome on Friday, Oman’s diplomat chief, a mediator in talks between the two countries, said today. “The 5th round of talks between Iran and the US will take place in Rome this Friday, May 23,” Badr al-Busayi said. Washington and Tehran, enemies for four decades, began on April 12 under the mediation of Oman’s Sultanate Sultanate on the thorny issue of the Iranian nuclear program.
